PT is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Akron, OH, who needs $1,200 for Vaccinations, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Meds, and Blood Work.

PT is my baby boy. He is a Bullboxer-pitt. His mom was a rescue dog that I got on Craigslist. The owner was trying to make her fight and she refused. So his wife put her on line one morning and I happened to be the lucky one who got her. She passed away from complications with the birth of PT and his 10 brothers and sisters. He was the one with the best personality so he became my best friend.

I actually have 2 dogs. PT since birth and St'R for 5 years now. He is a rescue too. PT is 8 and St'R is 10. They have always went to Memorial Animal Hospital in Kent every 6 months. There has been a few emergencies as well. They always get the full work up and vaccinated and flea tick and heartworm meds. Until 2024. In January of 2024 I had a heart attack that put me out of work all year.

I was forced to sell my work truck to keep up with daily life and bills. The vet had to wait. I'm scared because they need their vaccinations and heartworm chewable. It is not possible right now and times are tough at the moment. PT needs his shots because he has Lymes Disease enzymes present. Lately he has developed heavy rapid breathing and I'm so afraid something is wrong.

I'm back to work but so far in debt I just can't find any extra money for the vet. We need a new vehicle and between the bills the house and utilities we scrape by every month. Barely. I want to make sure my dogs are healthy and get their shots. They are literally my world.
