Puchi is a 2 month old Mix-Breed in Baraboo, WI, who needs $2,000 for Soft Tissue Surgery.

Puchi was 1 of 12 "free" 8 week old kittens living in a dog kennel. A local rescue had me pick up 9 kittens and 2 cats from that residence. But afterwards decided they didnt have the funds for any of them. Some have been adopted and others transfered to a different rescue. Unfortunately Puchi's medical issues prevented him from going. He currently lives with myself, my children, and our pets.

Puchi and 3 others were actually only 4 weeks old. A few days in my care Puchi was experiencing problems with passing stool, and was treated for diaherrea. Four days later he ended up fully impacted and taken to the VCA. After weeks of vet visits and enemas, Puchi was seen by internal medicine at UW Veterinary clinic. He was diagnosed with Atresia ani type 1. And requires corrective surgery.

Most days Puchi is withdrawn and in pain due to chronic constipation. But he is the sweetest little kitten, he loves being held and purrs so loud. Days when he feels better he just loves playing and exploring.

Given that Puchi was originally suppose to go to a rescue this is a very unexpected and unplanned financial burden for myself and my family. I would love Puchi to have the opportunity to just be a happy healthy kitten. And watch him grow into an amazing adult.
