Pugsly is a Pug and Maltese Mix puppy in Burlington, KS, who needs $1,000 for Amputation .

We adopted Pugsly, and his sister Malty when they were just 7 weeks old. They both are our inside dogs who sleep with us or the kids every single night. Ever since we got him, he has been a snuggle bug always fighting for attention with his sister. He is such a happy dog at home and is a big part of our family.

Pugsly likes to cuddle with his sister or with one of his humans. He loves his sister and his kids and can't stand to be separated from them. He is only 6 months old and loves to run and to play. His bestfriend is his sister, then his kids. No matter who he is cuddling at the time, if someone gets up and leaves the room, he has to follow them to see what's going on.

Due to covid, my husband's job hasn't been working much, putting a large financial strain on us. We can't afford an amputation. It would mean the world to us and to our children to have our fur baby still with us and not put down.

Friday night Pugsly got hit by a truck. In order to save his life he needs an expensive surgery or an amputation. Our kids are devastated and don't want to have to put him down. He darted out of the house and straight into the road. There was no time to react, everything happened so fast. Everyone feels guilty right now.

Pugsly is loveable and afraid of his own shadow. Everything spooks him and he goes running to his nearest human and hops up in their lap. He cries if he doesn't get picked up and sat on the bed. He has to sleep with someone every night. He cant sleep alone. He likes to bark and act tough when new people come around but really he is just scared and will run away.
