I owned pukas parents. Once Puka was born I knew she was going to be my dog. Shes been threw homelessness with me, heartbreak, and moved into my first apartment with me. Shes also had her own obstacles she's over come herself like emergency uterus removal surgery and running away for 2 months and finding her way home. Shes my best friend, my baby, my dawg and I can't see life without her.

I found a lump on her chest at the end of March which is a tumor. I need to get blood work and X-rays done to see the extent of and to know exactly what we are dealing with. I took her to a low-cost clinic, The Oahu SPCA Veterinarian Clinic and Animal Shelter where they have been very helpful with my option. After the test are done I will decide what we are going to do from there.

Puka loves people. She just has to great everyone around her. She loves her stuffed animals, her babies. It's funny because she knows how to keep herself busy so she will be in the bedroom alone tossing her babies in the air and catching them. Shes very attached to me, separation anxiety, and needs me as much as I need her. She makes me smile no matter how mad I am, she knows how to cheer me up.

I was homeless for 10 years until a year ago. I'm not working because of my limitations to work. I'm currently receiving money from state and waiting on disability claim to go threw. I need my dog, I can't see life without her. I love her to death and beyond.
