About this campaign

I saw this puppy posted in a local rescue page and no rescues would step up to take him. I didn’t want him to suffer so I offered to take him. His mother was a stray and had 3 puppies and one passed and one was healthy and then there was him.

Pup was taken to the vet for a bulge in his side. They ordered radiographs and found out he had a flank hernia. He was given his vaccines and rechecked and they made a plan to do hernia repair. They want to do it in approximately one month to let him grow a little bit.

He is just a baby and deserves a chance at a normal life. I fear all he has known for his 7 weeks of life is pain. He was living outside in a pin before I took him. Now he has two dogs and two cats to play with. A nice soft bed to lay in. And a good quality food to eat. He is very sweet and has been following my boyfriend around all day.

This is a sudden major expense and we are on disability. We can care for our own pets needs but frequently take in rescues who have no other options. I can handle regular vet bills but this is a huge surgery.
