About this campaign

Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society saved an entire, growing dog family in dire need. Now the nonprofit group needs your help.

"Two middle school boys allegedly filmed themselves beating and abusing two puppies in the backseat of a car," Shyloh B., with the rescue, says. "It was appalling, sickening, and enraging to watch. Both puppies' utter fear and confusion can be felt and seen as they were repeatedly assaulted."

The group says miraculously, the puppies didn't sustain severe, life-threatening injuries. "But as we found out, the puppies are not the only potential victims of this story; they were not alone in the home. Three other dogs were found and removed from the property," Shyloh says.

Mutt Misfits says all five dogs were in appalling condition and need urgent help. "They were covered in ticks, extremely malnourished, and underweight," Shyloh says.

Then one of the dogs gave birth to eleven puppies. "They are now the newest members of our family at Mutt Misfits, where they are safe and loved," Shyloh adds. "They will never experience violence, neglect, abuse, or cruelty."

Now the rescue hopes you can help them raise money to cover the medical care all these dogs will need.

"You are our heroes," Shyloh says. "Every dollar goes to our pets' care! Truly, no amount is too small."
