About this campaign

When Victoria B. saw Puppy was injured and about to be killed in a Texas shelter, she sprang into action.

"He was set to be euthanized to make space," Victoria tells Waggle. "I couldn't see him be euthanized."

Victoria brought Puppy for care at Anicira Veterinary Center. "The veterinarian said they think he may have been hit by a car. X-rays confirmed he has a fractured tibia, multiple fractures of his right knee, and a fractured fibula that extends into his growth plate," Victoria says.

Sadly, Puppy's leg is so damaged it can't be surgically put back together again. He needs to have the leg amputated. The operation is something Victoria is struggling to pay. "I lost my job a year ago," she says. "I have been able to keep all my pets in great health by living off my savings. Puppy would be so happy to be pain-free if he can get his surgery."

Victoria launched this fundraising campaign, hoping you can help Puppy get the surgery she needs so they can all live happily ever after.

"He has a good prognosis if he can receive his surgery," she says. "He is here with me in a home with a big yard where he hopes to run in one day. Puppy is a happy-go-lucky little guy stuck on kennel rest until he can get surgery. He would love to run and jump around with his fur siblings. He would love to sit comfortably and be out of the kennel to join in family activities such as daily walks and playing fetch."

Can you help Puppy cross the finish line into his new life?
