About this campaign

Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption volunteers are completely and utterly heartbroken: Puppy Tumble came down with Parvo. "She is the sweetest girl," Amy T., with the rescue, tells Waggle.

Parvo is a dangerous, highly contagious virus that is completely preventable if a puppy or dog is vaccinated. Sadly, these puppies were born outside after a person who didn't spay or neuter their pets had an unexpected litter. "Not spaying, neutering, or vaccinating your dog or cat can have serious consequences," Amy says. "Now this puppy is suffering because of it. We see this happen all the time, and it's gut-wrenching."

The rescue hopes Puppy Tumble, fighting for her life at New Hope Animal Hospital, can win her battle, and her littermates don't contract the virus. Lucky Lab is a nonprofit that isn't afraid to take in dogs with medical issues that might otherwise be euthanized. But they can only do that with the help of organizations like Waggle and generous donors.

"Every dog we save is special," Amy adds. "We go out of our way to help treat dogs for medical conditions they have. We are praying for Puppy Tumble."
