Help Purps Learn That She Is Safe Again

Purps spent her entire life with the same family after being adopted as a kitten. She should have known nothing but love and security. Instead, in her senior years, the people she trusted turned their backs on her.

Purps was put outside by her grandparents, but her grandchildren kept bringing her back inside—because they knew she belonged there. When the family decided they wanted her gone, things became even more heartbreaking. Purps was hit and kicked by the very people who were supposed to protect her. Thankfully, Pumpkin's Rescue Club stepped in and gave Purps the chance she desperately needed.

Now, this sweet senior girl is settling into a foster home where she can finally begin to feel safe. She is learning that not every hand will hurt her and that she doesn't have to be afraid anymore. After everything she has endured, Purps deserves the opportunity to simply be a cat again.

On Monday, Purps will visit the veterinarian for a comprehensive exam, senior bloodwork, and a SNAP test. She will also receive a microchip so she can have permanent identification and protection moving forward.

We don't yet know everything Purps has been through or what her medical needs may be, but we know she deserves to enter this next chapter with the care she should have received all along.
