About this campaign

Putter has been with me for 16 years and is a rescue from the Michigan Humane Society. He lives with my husband, myself and our other cat Rascal (his orange brother who also was a rescue). Putter and Rascal are a pair, a duo and are brothers. It is sad to see but Rascal know’s Putter is sick and is missing their daily playtime.

Prior to Putter getting sick he was the door greeter, the morning alarm and a daily support cat. He has been through thick and thin with our family, and he loves everyone he meets. All he ever wants is to be loved and to be petted. He doesn’t care who’s petting him as long as he gets attention. He is the best cat. Putter has been in my life for about 16 years and has helped me emotionally .

Putters health issues was an unexpected and sudden hit to our family. Currently only one of us is working and we are on a fixed income already and this was just another set back for us. Having some support would mean the world to our family and to Putter.

Putter was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease last month, and this past week he was diagnosed with diabetes and is also is starting to have some breathing issues. He takes a renal support medication twice a day, insulin twice a day, a joint pill once a day. He is being seen by Vets2U in Troy Michigan and Parkway Animal Hospital

Putter is special because he can always do something to make you smile, and knows when you are feeling down. He head-buts you when he knows you are sad or anxious for you to forget about your worries and to pet him. He also waits by the door when my husband or myself leaves the house. I think he is part dog.
