Pyari's story is not for the faint of heart. She is the victim of severe abuse, an unfortunately common occurrence in Pakistan.

Pyari was beaten by the public resulting in horrible wounds, one so bad it takes up most of her back. She was emaciated, scared, and desperately trying to find a safe place to hide. Luckily ACF Animal Rescue stepped in to provide this sweet soul with shelter and desperately needed care.

Pyari has an extremely long, difficult road to physical and mental recovery. She will need much veterinary care including pain management, antibiotics to stop infection from spreading, and wound cleaning and debridement. She will also need a comprehensive rehabilitation program to help her deal with the trauma and learn to trust again.
