Queen Bean is a 3 year old German Shepherd Dog in Hanahan, SC, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic Surgery.

I have owned Queen since she was born. She is fondly referred to as Queen Bean or Beany Weannie depending on if you would just like to see her melt away in the love. Beans was born in March of 2021 with existing issues that has required work over the years. Despite her limitations she is one of the happiest dogs you could ever meet.

On June 10th Beans darted from the sitter house during a tornado. She was at large for 5 days before we found her in the woods with a broken leg. Her Ulna and Radius were snapped at the growth plate just above the wrist and will require plates and screws for proper healing. My vet has explained this surgery could cost upward of 8k. We are waiting to have a consultation with an ortho surgeon.

Beans, despite her struggles, is the happiest dog ever.She loves to chase the ball and play with her sister shepherd. She loves to snuggle and will crawl up in your lap for belly rubs. When she wants something she becomes very vocal until you pay her the attention she wants. She loves to go for rides and visit with family and play with other family members dogs. The company I work for is struggling financially and therefor my pay has felt this. I have had to use savings to get by and I do not want to have to surrender her or put her to sleep. I want to provide her with any medical care needed for recovery.
