Queen is a 2-year-old Mixed Breed in Lancaster, PA, who needs $2,000 for Heartworm Treatment and Tail Amputation.

I rescued Queen 4 weeks ago. She was malnourished, abused and neglected. She was updated on all of her shots but was unfortunately diagnosed with heart worms. She also injured her tail and began chewing it and requires tail amputation. After her tail amputation we want to treat her heart worms. Eventually we would like to treat her broken femur also. She is sweet and loving!!!

We have three children, a cat and 2 other dogs. She gets along so well with everyone. She is gentle with the children and loves to play with our other dogs. She has been adjusting slowly to her new environment and is getting used to just being a dog (:

We are unsure what kind of dog Queen is. But we suspect she is a boxer mix. She has a cute underbite and gets wiggly when she is excited (: she truly is a queen.

She is currently getting her tail amputated. And then needs treatment for heart worms. She will then need treatment for a previously fractured femur.

I have 3 children and 2 other dogs (also a cat and snake) all adopted. I am currently in school for my RN and have had to decrease my work schedule while in school. Finances have been very tight but i really want to help Queen. She is the sweetest dog i have ever known and she doesn't deserve the things that have happened to her.
