Quest is a 4 year old Dachshund in Oak Hill, OH, who needs $2,000 for Hemilaminectomy.

I adopted quest from a dachshund breeder. Quest is actually his birth name and I call him pup or pupper. He is my only pet and I don’t know what I will do if I can’t fix him and get him back to his normal self.

Quest unexpectedly started experiencing paralysis in his back legs on friday due to ivdd. He is expected to make a full recover and walk again with surgery.

Pups favorite thing to do is go for long walks outside. As soon as he hears his leash he is ready to go. He loves warm weather and with it being spring and warm this is really hard on him. I can tell he wants to run and play like his usual self but is unable to and it makes me so sad.

The surgery is expensive and I am trying to eliminate what I have to pay out of pocket. I am being told he will get an MRI first and then they will do his sedation and send him to surgery. He will spend 2-3 days overnight.
