About this campaign
I've had Quincy for a year now. I adopted him from BARCs. I was told that just before I adopted him that someone had tied him to the fence of the shelter and left him there. I don't think that Quincy had too much of a good life with previous owners. He has some negative reactions towards people sometimes. But he is so sweet and listens well.
Since Quincy has been in my home, he is not an outdoor dog. He goes for his walks, I attempt to give him treats, but he doesn't really like certain treats. I think he is a very gentle soul and everyone in the household loves him. But I am the one that he loves the most. There is nothing like coming home and him wagging his tail because he's happy to see me.
I paid $273 for his exam, bloodwork and anti nausea medication. I am low income. I just don't have the money for the ultrasound. I don't have family or the credit to apply for CareCredit. I'd really appreciate the help. Thank you.
The vet at Main Street said that his liver enzymes are elevated and could indicate liver disease. He needs an ultrasound that costs $415. Quincy is only 4 years old. I don't want to lose him, I've been through that before. I'm hoping if it's early enough, that I could save him from getting sicker and potentially dying.
I have grown really attached to him in this past year. I think he is so cute. Other people may not agree, but he is gentle and sweet. He is not a problem dog. He doesn't go in the trash. He doesn't destroy things. He likes his toys and keeps them for long periods of time. I want Quincy to have a better life than whatever he experienced in his past. I think he's happy here.
