About this campaign
Quinn Ann Kelleher, our beloved rescue dog, has truly become a cherished member of our family over the past four years. Named with a special connection to my wife, Quinn carries a legacy of love and meaning in every step she takes. She shares our home with Ruby the cat and the delightful chickens, Cutie and Rosey. Quinn's gentle spirit and loving nature enrich your lives daily.
Quinn is paralyzed in the hindquarters, which came out of nowhere. From the time we noticed something was wrong to not being able to walk was 6 hrs. Blood work was good, no lime disease, but she may have a possible bulging disc. We use Bantam Lake Animal Hospital in CT.
Quinn loves her balls and our 2 kids! She used to sleep with our son every night to comfort him. My daughter takes her on walks around the neighborhood by herself and plays dress up. When certain friends or family show up, she loses all control of her butt, wiggling around like crazy. A couple of in-laws fight over who gets to watch her when we go on vacation. Shes loved by everyone she meets!
The only way to find out what's definitively wrong neurologically is an MRI. We have already amassed around $3000 for an ER visit and veterinary overnight care. An MRI will tell us what' wrong, then we'll have to contend with the cost of treatment which is currently unknown.
