About this campaign

Quinn is a rescue. When the placement organization called I wasn't ready for another pet, but the story was too compelling. Quinn had been ignored and left tied to a pole with a very short lead. His collar was so small that it had to be removed by a vet because it had started to fuse with his skin. Despite this and with a little patience and love, Quinn has become a member of the family.

Quinn has cancer in his rear leg and this requires an amputation at the hip. Despite this he is very happy and loving, but he does gnaw on the paw because it bothers him. For this reason there is constantly an open wound on his foot. Coning/bandaging doesn't work and we fear it will become infected causing much more serious problems.

Quinn is our loving companion. Together with his partner in crime, Brush, they form an important part of our family. He's sweet and loving and loves to tease his brother. His favorite thing is to show you his toy which could be the cow, the gator or the Gumby on every given day. He then wants you to "try" to take it from him and he (slowly) runs away. He could do this all day long

We simply don't make enough to get Quinn then help he deserves. The procedure is $2500 and the after care could be a bit more based upon the outcome.
