Radar is a 11-year-old Chihuahua in Mount Pleasant, PA, who needs $800 for Dental Surgery to Remove Abscessed Teeth.

I found Radar by accident. I wasn’t going to add to my happy home but when I saw this little runt with huge ears my heart was won forever & wanted him wholeheartedly to join my home. Tequila loved having a little brother right away. He tucked the little bundle in his dog bed with him and made sure he was warm and protected. Hard to believe that will be 12 years ago on Sept 3rd.

Since I began my disability journey Radar has been my constant companion. When I’m having bad bad da, Radar rarely even leaves my side, the extra layer of warmth needed on those days. When Tequila passed it became just the two of us. Inseparable & he was the reason I continued to battle to make sure he was taken care of everyday. To see 4 lb bundle of energy slow down for me was immeasurably love

Upon seeing this baby’s huge ears and quickly realizing his uncanny ability to hear things that no human can possibly understand I knew his name was going to be Radar after my favorite MASH character. He continues to live up to his name by being able to hear his favorite human’s cars coming way before they are in sight. And distinguishing ringtones as to if it was one of his friends that called.

.Suddenly on Aug 18th the Rt side of his face under his eye started to swell. After a vet visit I learned he would need his teeth removed bc 1 was abscessed &the others were in bad shape. We would continue to face abscesses on an ongoing basis if his teeth weren’t removed. His abscess grew & broke open. It stops oozing & swells again. Cycle repeats every few hours despite being given antibiotic

Fixing Radar’s teeth so his not in anymore distress is priority. But on SSDI it’s not a possibility. Asking for help isn’t easy but it’s necessary. If I could fix it myself I would but I’m hoping God will bless me w/ the help I need. Thanks to all who took the time to help
