Raidyn is a 2-year-old Boxer Mix in Coolidge, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Amputation.

Our pets name is Raidyn. We originally adopted Raidyn from a friend of my husbands who could not care for him. We have had Raidyn since he was three weeks old. We bottle fed him due to not having a mother. Raidyn is our only pet so he gets plenty of belly rubs and scratches. We got his name from a family vote. Raidyn is vet outdoorsy and enjoys lizard chasing as well as giving hugs and kisses.

Raidyn is a cuddler while he has his own bed he prefers sleeping with our daughter. Raidyns absolute favorite thing is car rides. He waits patiently until given the signal to hop in the car and go. He will even fall asleep while hanging his head out the window enjoying the breeze. He enjoys running out in the rain and playing fetch. He is very vocal when he hungry or his water his running low.

Raidyn is our daughter’s ESA dog and a big member of our family. Raidyn will nudge you if he needs something. He loves to bring his water and food bowl when he is hungry or thirsty, he will give you his paw when he is ready for a treat. He enjoys chasing and hunting lizards, running in the rain and is also the sweetest scaredy cat we know. His curiosity is amazing. He loves keep away and fetch.

We are seeking help with surgery cost. In Sept of this year Raidyn was playing catch and landed incorrectly resulting in a fractured leg, dislocated ankle, and broken toe. We took him to an emergency vet, who told us he will need ongoing care. Raidyn has been going to Signal Butte Vet Hospital and grooming. After much bandages, we have moved forward with amputation as the best possible outcome.

We are a one family income. My husband lost his job due to time off needed for our daughter who is special needs. She was playing with Raidyn when he got hurt and blames herself. She has recently been released from inpatient and needs a full time care.
