Rascal is a 9-year-old Blue Heeler in Moorhead, MN, who needs $2,000 for non weight bearing lameness left forelimb.

Rascal came into our life after my dad died I was sad and lonely and I was just window shopping and he kept clawing the glass on his cage and barking at me so i asked to hold him and fell in love with him. Ive had rascal for nine months and he is not just a pet he is more like my child. I do have a cat in the household which those two clicked right away off the bat.

Rascal sleeps at the foot of my bed. he literally rest his head on my feet to make sure I'm in bed. rascal loves going for walks and car rides to get pup cups. anywhere i go he goes with me. He loves to play catch, he also loves playing in the water at the lakes he is right there with my kids swimming.

All the money i had put away for a rainy day we had to use during the pandemic because i had to take time off from work to help my kids with online schooling during the pandemic and i didn't qualify for unemployment ,and i had to pay rent and electric with they money i had.

On mothers day 2021 we were taking him to get a pup cup and celebrate mothers day with me and my kids and he got really excited and jumped up and landed wrong on his leg. since then i took him to emergency vet and there wasn't much they could do for him but pain meds to keep him comfy. my funds are limited due to not working because of covid and having my kids do school from home so money is tight.

Rascal has his favorite toys he gets in his bark box every month. he knows when his box has came he will jump on me trying to get into his box. He is afraid of the dark as weird as it sounds. he can sense when I'm having a bad day he will jump all over me and lick me and give me puppy kisses. seeing his puppy dog eyes makes your heart melt and you will fall in love with him. he has those cute eyes.
