Rat is a 15 Year Old Yorkshire Terrier in Sherman, TX, Who Needs $800 for Pyometra Surgery.

I got my little Rat from my best friend. Shortly after getting out of the Navy my best friends grandmother passed away. Rat was one of her dogs and they weren't sure what to do with her and I fell in love with her immediately. I live full time in a travel trailer so her tiny size made it a perfect match.

About a week ago she started acting strange and I noticed a swollen belly I took her to Lange Veterinarian and she was digonised with pyometra and give antibiotics she has had minimal improvement and now needs surgery of which I cant afford.

She's a little firecracker. Her favorite thing to do is well with her squeaky pig toy and sleeping. But once she's sleeping you better not move or she will show you where her teeth use to be.

My only income is my VA disability pay and it doesn't allow me the financial flexibility when a emergency situation such as this. She has helped me in my recovery and I hope to be able to get help for hers.
