Raven came into my life when I was 20 years old. She came from a breeder all the way from Alaska! My family wanted to add a puppy into the family, but Raven was going to be my emotional support dog at the same time. I moved out at 21 and got an apartment in Minneapolis. We would go to the dog park constantly, and hang out at home. Now, we live in a town house, and enjoy walking around the area.

Raven loves her grandma and my little brother. She gets so excited when she see's them. Jumps all around, and lays on them, so they won't leave! She loves to play out in the snow. During the winter, I take her to the Minnehaha Falls dog park, and boy does she love it! She will run on the shore, and just run in the woods for hours! When we come home after the dog park, she will pass out!

Ever since she was a puppy, she loved to play in the snow. She get's so excited that she start's jumping around and playing in the snow. One of her habits that she created is she will run and she will get ahead of me where I don't know where she went. However, every time she will come find me without me calling for her. She always makes sure that I am not far away from her.

In August of 2023, she was diagnosed with stage 2 periodontal disease. I went to different vets to make sure that this was true. Her main vet diagnosed her and wanted me to pay $ 2,000 to get her teeth cleaned. I went to a different vet and they diagnosed her with stage 2 as well. They had a better rate, but still not something that I can afford.

I have health issues that I constantly have to deal with, and pay for. I just got a new job at a different school, and I not getting paid my full yearly salary due to starting in the middle of the school year. My dog means everything to me, and I don't want her in pain!
