About this campaign

Hello, my name is Ayanna, and I’m reaching out with a very heavy heart on behalf of my cat, Ravioli.

Ravioli came into my life during one of the hardest periods I’ve ever been through. My mom brought her home for me when I was struggling deeply, and from the moment she arrived, she became my comfort. She wasn’t just a pet. She was something steady to hold onto when everything else felt uncertain. She slept beside me, followed me from room to room, and somehow always knew when I needed her most.

She also has a sister, Tissue, and the two of them have grown up together. They play, nap, and curl up side by side every day. Watching them together has always been a source of warmth and grounding for me, especially during difficult times. Seeing Ravioli unwell has been heartbreaking, not only for me but for her sister too, who keeps looking for her and waiting nearby.

Recently, Ravioli got into my sewing supplies and swallowed a piece of string. Since then, she has stopped eating and using the litter box. After speaking with a veterinarian, we were told this could be extremely serious and potentially life threatening if not treated quickly. She needs to be seen for imaging and possible medical intervention to make sure the string has not caused a blockage.

I am currently in college, and between school expenses and helping support my family, finances are already very tight. It is just my mom, my brother, and me, and the cost of emergency veterinary care is more than we can manage on our own. Ravioli has been a constant source of comfort for me through school and some of the hardest moments of my life, and the thought of losing her because we could not afford care is devastating.

Ravioli is gentle, loving, and deeply cherished. She has been there for me when I needed her most, and I cannot imagine giving up without doing everything possible to help her. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this, truly means more than I can express.

All funds raised will go directly toward her veterinary care, including diagnostics, treatment, and any necessary procedures.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and for helping us give Ravioli a chance to heal.
