Red is a 5 year old Golden Retriever in Independence, MO, who needs $900 for Ultrasound & Trypsin-Like Immunoreactivity.

I bought Red from a lady down in Clinton, Missouri in 2019. He was about 8 weeks old when I brought him home. He was my very first dog (I grew up with dogs my whole life but he was my first personal dog). I kept his name the same since it just felt right. We do not have other dogs in the house just my Red. Red has a baby brother that is two years old. We love Red so much!

Red has suffered from weight loss in the last year or so. Due to an unknown cause. He has been to several other veterinary clinics with no luck of coming to a conclusion of what is causing the weight loss. In order to figure out a solution to the problem Red needs a lab drawn to look at his kidneys, pancreas and liver function. Along with a an ultrasound. These tests will cost about $900.

Red is a loving boy, he loves to play and “wrestle” with his human brother. He loves to swim and run around at dog parks. He loves belly rubs and getting loved on by his grandparents. He especially loves when his uncles are in town to give him loves.

The financial situation we are in is a fixed income, single mom household. Red was and is my first baby, he has been with me through all of the ups and downs. My son and I love Red with all of our hearts. We do not want him to continue to lose weight.
