Reese is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Baton Rouge, LA, who needs $3,000 for Diabetes Management and Cataracts Surgery.

This is my wife’s dog that she got when she was barely 14 years old. Her family didn’t care for Reese too much, but my wife did everything thing in her power to take care of Reese. We left for college, and her family neglected Reese’s lifestyle and let her develop complications that were not cared for. We moved her to our college town a couple weeks ago and are doing our best to care for our pup.

Reese was diagnosed with diabetes, Horner’s Syndrome, a UTI, hyperthyroidism, and allergies. All very recently. She has recently been a patient at Sherwood South Animal Hospital.

She is the sweetest and silliest pup to her owners. She is adorably sassy and loves to huff when she doesn’t quite get her way. She loves back and belly scratches, and was only taught one command, “Kisses!” She loves to give you a kiss if she tolerates you enough. Her health has hindered her playfulness, but every now and then she’ll return to her youthful side and get playful with her toys.

We’re college students that work multiple jobs each to keep finances going. We just spend around $2,000 in the last 10 or so days. The neglect Reese received from her previous owners fell on us, and we need the help to recover from these debilitating payments.
