Reggie is a 3.5 year old Doberman Pinscher in Pasadena , CA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Knee Surgery.

I rescued Reggie from the Ventura County Animal Shelter. My Doctor at Kaiser Permanente recommended me to get a therapy dog for my medical condition. I prefer female dogs but since is so handsome and the foster family raved about him so I met him and knew it was meant to be. He’s admired every where we go! He loves to chase squirrels and gophers. He runs like a race horse and with amazing grace.

Reggie fell off an Oceanside cliff chasing a gopher. VCA of Sonoma County CA took X-Rays and found that he tore his ligament in his left hind leg. The xrays cost $1300. He now needs a TPLO knee surgery that will cost $3,900. Surgipet in Carlsbad, CA is the veterinary surgeon that was recommended to me who will accept Waggle funding. We feel confident that this surgery will stabilize Reggie's knee ligament. The recovery time for this surgery is 8 weeks.

Reggie loves everybody! And everybody loves Reggie! He is a hunter and fisher-dog. Loves chasing squirrels and hogging all the blankets and sleeping in the middle of the bed.Since he was abandoned on the street he has terrible separation anxiety. He loves off leash dog beaches and the forest. He’s not a barker always mellow. His tail wags when someone is st the door.

In March 2023 I became disabled and my income was reduced significantly. My state benefits ended in March 2024 at the same time this accident occured. I am currently living solely on social security benefits and am unable to pay for this surgery. Reggie has been my hero throughout this past year. This surgery would give Reggie the best chance to resume his previous loves of running, fishing and hiking.
