About this campaign
We adopted Remi from a shelter a little over two years ago. He and his litter were found dumped in a box on the side of a road. The second myself, my boys, and my other pup met him, we knew he was the one to complete our family.
We found out yesterday at Rickords Animal Hospital in Fort Worth that he has a torn CCL and is need of TPLO surgery which we have scheduled for October 16th. While we have some funds that can go towards this, the total cost of the surgery is exorbitant at $4,000 and we simply cannot afford it all. If we decide to postpone the surgery further, we risk his other CCL becoming damaged from overuse.
Remi is the most loving dog we've ever had. He either wants to play fetch with his soccer ball or cuddle up and snore. He is extremely vocal and seems to have something to say about everything.
The cost of this surgery is extremely high. My husband is employed as an aircraft mechanic however I am in college full time to become a Social Work as well as being a stay at home mom to our two boys.
