About this campaign

I adopted Remy from my work (Oregon humane society) when he was 8 weeks old. His mom, Shayna was a second chance dog that came in pregnant and he was born in foster care. He was the easiest puppy and extremely smart. Since I've adopted him he has lived in a house with a fenced yard, has a 13 year old dog friend and a cat in the house.

Remy gets excited and becomes vocal when you get home. Howls to say hello. He's very well mannered and gets along with anyone and everything. He always asks before getting up on the bed. He loves to sleep with his human brother every night. We couldn't have gotten a better dog, he fits in perfect.

Recently I took in my two nephews and has definitely affected us financially. I paid what I could but Remy means the world to us and if it means going into debt, I'll do it.

On a late evening our latch to our gate broke and Remy decided to go adventure. The neighbor came and let us know he had been hit by a car. He ended up breaking his radius and ulna in multiple spots, and his carpal joint. Luckily there was no internal damage but he did stay in the ICU overnight then a few days later had a very extensive surgery on his right leg.

Remington's favorite thing to do is cuddle. He enjoys playing with other animals and playing fetch, making mom proud and working for treats. I've had Remy for a little over 2 years and were completely inseparable. In case you haven't noticed we call him Remy for short.
