Renegade is a 9 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Stratford , CT, who needs $2,000 for ACL Surgery.

We rescued Renegade in 2015. The rescue brought him over for a meet & great, he was rambunctious & naughty. We didn't want him to end up in the wrong hands, so we kept him. We hired a trainer a couple times. It took him 2 yrs before he would snuggle. 6yrs before he would play with a toy. He now sleeps with me under the covers and loves to do zoomiez after going potty. He is sweet & sassy.

Renni's favorite person is his auntie. We went for a visit & he was so excited he lunged himself into the air, over the cover table & onto the couch. He yelled in pain immediately & would not put weight on his left leg, so 5mins after arriving we went home. The vet said he tore his ACL. We put him on meds to see if he would heal. 3 weeks later he slipped on ice & tore his right ACL.

Renni has always been food driven. Renni is sassy & talks back if he needs to. He will tell you when he needs a cookie, or to go outside. He will call you over to recover anything he wants that he can't get on his own. He cries for you to put the covers on him (even if HE took them off). He loves to smell your face and give kisses while his tail move his whole butt side to side. He is my baby.

Renegade's surgery could be up to $6782.53 per leg! That's $13, 565.06 total. The vet said the risk is low & he will be back to his old self again. I have a child about to go to college, $20,000 / yr and I need a new to me car. I already work 2 jobs. I can't do it alone.
