Rex is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix in Leaf River, IL who needs $5,000 for double-leg surgery, for bilateral tibial plateau leveling osteotomy.

We adopted Rex on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Bryan was planning to join the military, and I didn’t want to be home alone. Buddy (our one year old mixed breed rescue) was nearly a year old at this time, and needed a playmate too.

Rex has always been a dog you can take anywhere or do anything with. Rex has become the ultimate family member, and he makes sure that he wins over the heart of any of our guests. Rex has the perfect temperament with the slightest goofy personality that you just can't help but fall in love with.
