Rex is a 6-year-old Pit Mix in Moosup, CT, who needs $2,000 for Fracture Repair.

Rex has been with us his whole life, he is about 6 &1/2 years old. He lives with my husband and I, our 2 daughters and his doggy sister Sahara. He has already beat some incredible odds by surviving parvo as a very young puppy, he is strong and resilient. Rex means so much to us all and is loved with all our hearts.

Rex absolutely loves his human sisters and his dog sister as well! He loves being moms shadow, he is always with me, even in the bathroom, lol. He absolutely loves sneaking a snack when dinner is being prepared or when daddy isn’t watching. Rex loves to snuggle up and give mom kisses, he is so gentle and has a huge doggy heart.

Rex may be 6 &1/2, but he still acts like a crazy puppy all the time! He loves to jump and play ball. Sometimes we call him a bunny because he hops when we gets excited. He loves to play fight with dad ( mom thinks he always wins, dad likes to think he’s the winner). He barks at pretty much everything , but that’s Rex, he’s got a big, loud voice and he will let everyone know.

Rex broke his back right leg while playing ball with dad. Rex jumped up, as he does all the time and just didn’t stick the landing this time. He will be getting surgery to repair his leg, the veterinary team will be putting a plate and screws in place. Surgery is scheduled for 10/20/2022.

We are asking for donations to help in Rex’s medical services because this is extremely unexpected. We just moved back home to CT and didn’t have a lot saved up yet, moves are expensive and a dogs broken leg is not something we anticipated. Any amount will help. Thank you.
