About this campaign
Rex is my sweet, playful dog who’s been with us since he was 8 weeks old. I got him from my neighbor’s litter and kept his name because he already answered to it. He’s been attached to me from the start and only knows life with me and my family. Our mini goldendoodle, who we had before Rex, loves him just as much as we do.
About 6 months ago, Rex injured his leg and was diagnosed with a cruciate injury. His leg is badly swollen, and he can barely walk. He’s in constant pain and has lost his appetite. We gave him all the prescribed medications, but they haven’t helped. He now needs surgery as soon as possible to relieve his pain and help him heal.
Rex is the sweetest boy and just loves being near us, cuddling or hanging out indoors. He’s never been an outside dog—he’s always by our side. He used to be so playful, but now he just lays around, and we really miss the old Rex. He’s brought so much joy to our lives, and it’s hard seeing him like this.
It would mean the world to have Rex back to his healthy, happy self. Sadly, we don’t have the financial resources to get him the surgery he needs. We’ve been doing our best with everything life has thrown at us, but the cost of his care is more than we can manage right now.
