Rex is a 7 year old Siberian Husky in San Marcos, CA, who needs $5,300 for TPLO Surgery to Repair his ACL on Right Rear Leg.

Our story with Rex begins in Nov.2019 I commented on a Facebook post where a lady was trying to rehome her cute little adorable husky. I already had 3 dogs of my own.. I was not looking for a dog but he was super cute! Later that evening and the days following This lady contacted me multiple times she really wanted me to take care of her dog permanently. Those cute mismatched eyes sucked us in!

We came home one afternoon and Rex was limping. He's not an overactive dog, he doesn't dig under or climb, he just talks a lot. We checked his foot it was definitely sore. after a week, he was still limping, We took him to San Marcos BLVD Vet after the examination x rays/ sedation, we found out Rex tore his ACL and needs TPLO surgery. Meds. Gabapentin 300 MG 2XDAY Diagnosis.$700/ surgery.$5,300

Rex I believe was sent to us to help us overcome some very difficult situations. He's the best companion. When my husband had a stroke and when I had multiple surgeries, he's so sweet, loving and attentive, always right there to nudge against us and keep us warm. We were home with him during COVID so he does not like to be apart from us. He sleeps with kids & has his own instagram page Rex19.

Due to our medical needs, we financially have not been able to fully financially recover.I desperately need asst./w Rex's surgery. It's only been about a 2 weeks it hurts us to see him like this. Someone said he don't have to have surgery.He'll adjust. NOT A OPTION for us
