About this campaign

I adopted Rex when he was almost a year old in Austin, TX. Since then we have been inseperable and spend almost no time apart. He's registered ESA and my best friend. I met my fiance 2 years ago and he has fallen in love with him just the same. He's traveled in car from TX to MA, with us 3 times and loves window watching.

Rex loves hanging out with us for most of his day. He is a people-cat and loves affection. He always wants to be in the mix and he is an extremely curious cat and loves investigating new experiences.

I'm as co-dependant on him as he is me. We've created the strongest bond, more than any other pet I've had. He is smart and listens to direction and he's the most important part of my everyday.

Rex is currently extremely ill. He's weak, mostly unable to move at this point, hasn't eaten in days, and constipated. The vet took X-Rays and believes that he has ingested a foreign object that he can't seem to pass. He gave us some medication and instruction for the next two days to help him, but if unsuccessful he will need emergency surgery to remove the blockage otherwise it will be fatal.

We already had to pay for the visit, x-ray, and medications. The surgery starts at 1300-3000 and are unable to pay most of it upfront for the cost of surgery. It's about the end of the first day the doctor has us monitoring him and he's getting substantially more weak.
