About this campaign

Rex is only 17 months old. We lost our Bruno two years ago this Sunday. He was Roxie's soulmate, companion, best friend, lover, her everything. When he passed she was deeply depressed as much as I was. We had taken in 2 more boxers, a male and female separately, but nothing helped. She was due to be fixed but had to have about six spots removed. After surgery she went straight into heat. An oops pregnantcy regardless of two areas, Crimson our new male of about 2 we got kept jumping fence.
Well Crimson came from a very abusive home and had bit me about five times and the day he nipped my husband was the day he left for IN to his forever home. Well Sophie out other girl we took in, wanted to fight Roxie after she got pregnant and you're her up pretty good to the tune of about $1500 in vet bills. So she now has a fever home on IN too where she rules the roost. Roxie went thru a very long labor and wasn't progressing after about 14 hours so off to the emergency vet for a Sunday night. They progressed her along with three pups out of six and sent us home. Four hours later we were back and another four they had to due an emergency C-section where two pups had died and one still hanging out in the back lived. They went ahead and fixed her where she wound up dying on the table and CPR was administratored. She had a very rough week of recovery but finally came around. Two pups went to live in IN and one here in Alabama. At that point we had this sweet baby boy and his 10 year old momma. My husband picked him up one day and says we shall keep him and his name will ve Rex. I chuckled and he said why. I said because his Grandpa's name was Rex. So we kept the last pup and our wolrds have forver changed. He brought our family back out of a deep depression from suddenly loosing our Bruno of only 7, who went from laying in bed with one boy, to crawling up under a bouncy horse in our little boys room and passing away, to joy again but not only for us, but for our girl whom he has brought back to life more than ever. Sye never was a real toy player and in her age lays around a lot. But now, she gives him a run for his money. Loves to play with toys and aggravate him as any parent and child do.
