About this campaign
Rex has always been the heart of his family. This sweet seven-year-old Siberian Husky is known for his gentle personality, his striking mismatched eyes, and the hilarious "Husky conversations" that keep his family smiling every single day. Whether he's out on a hike or simply spending time with the people he loves most, Rex brings endless joy to everyone around him. But in an instant, everything changed.
After an unexpected injury, Rex was diagnosed with a painful cranial cruciate ligament tear (similar to an ACL injury in people). His family still doesn't know exactly how it happened, but they do know one thing: watching their beloved boy struggle to walk has been absolutely heartbreaking. The active life Rex once loved has been put on hold.
His veterinarian has recommended TPLO surgery, the gold standard treatment for this type of injury, and is optimistic that Rex can make a full recovery and return to the happy, adventurous life he deserves. The procedure is estimated to cost $5,300, and while his family has worked hard to raise funds, they still need $3,065 to move forward with his surgery.
Like so many loving pet parents, Rex's family never imagined facing such a costly medical emergency. They are doing everything they can, but they can't do it alone.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings Rex one step closer to a pain-free future—where he can run, hike, and fill his home with his signature Husky "talks" once again.
If you're unable to donate, sharing Rex's fundraiser can make just as much of an impact by helping his story reach more compassionate animal lovers. Together, we can give Rex the second chance he deserves. Thank you for supporting Rex and his family.
