Rhino, who once served as a companion dog for his cheetah brother KJ at Wildlife Safari is now facing another spinal surgery. Rhino came to us after retirement after his first and second surgeries and needing a home.

He’s just undergone his 4TH(!!!!!!) IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) surgery, and the costs are adding up fast. Right now his surgery costs are around $11,000.

We signed up for pet insurance but due to rhinos pre existing conditions they will not cover him. This surgery is less than one year after his previous surgery that we prayed $7000 for. This sudden unexpected cost after one last year is difficult to manage and plan for.
