We adopted him from a small rescue in Knoxville, TN in 2016 when he was 15 months old. We currently live in an apartment in West Palm Beach, FL.

Richie loves cuddling in our bed, and laying under the bed. Most recently he has loved laying in his little cove under my desk. He is always up for treats and snacks! He is the sweetest little boy.

Richie is known for “talking” in his sleep, he always lets out little whimpers and will settle once he knows his humans are close. He always loves laying in the sun, we call him our sun puppy!

He’s experiencing partial facial paralysis in the left side of his face. In April 2023, he received a diagnosis of Cushing’s. June 2023, Richie underwent surgery to remove the foreign object and it was a success. Since this surgery, he’s been to the vet every 2 weeks with urinary issues. We just want him to live the best life possible.

We live in South Florida which is a very expensive place to live. Our rent takes a good chunk of our income each month, on top of power bills, cell phone bills, and surmounting debt. We had a car issue recently that needed fixing. Richie is our world
