Ricky is a 18 year old Miniature Pinscher in Slidell, LA, who needs $2,000 for Cataracts Surgery.

My fur baby Rocky came into my life when he was a puppy in 2007 while I browsed around inside a pet store. I fell in love with this beautiful fur baby the moment I laid eyes on him and knew I wanted to be his parent. Last year I noticed that was a hesitant to do the simpler things like walkdown the stairs became a goal to him. He have cataracts the vet had told me when we took him to the vet.

I was looking to have him get cataracts surgery, but the expenses of tests and not to mention over $3,000 for one eye and over $6,000 for both eyes. I badly want him to be able to at least get one eye done so he can have a better quality of life and be able to take his daily walks with tripping over the edge of the sidewalk or bumping to walls. It's heartbreaking to see him like this.

Rocky used to love playing with us toys and running around in the yard for play and exercise, but he is hesitant because of him loosing his sight. I want him to be able to see at least clearly out of one eye and that will make a world of difference to him where can enjoy life to the fullest.

I am currently working two jobs to get bills paid and trying to help get him the help that he need, but I am worried if I wait too long he may loose his sight completely. So I am urgently trying to get him to get surgery as quickly as possible.
