About this campaign

Riley has been part of our family since she was just 9 weeks old. My son raised her from a puppy, and she grew up surrounded by love. When he relocated to another state and could no longer care for her, I stepped in without hesitation.
Since then, Riley has been right by my side. She’s not just a pet, she’ my grand puppy . She’s been a constant companion, bringing love, comfort, and joy.

What we initially thought was a simple urinary tract infection has turned into something much more concerning. Riley was taken to Banfield pet hospital, twice. Both times, she was given antibiotics. What once was a trace of blood has now become more, issues with holding her urine. She he urgently needs diagnostic testing and treatment to determine what’s wrong and how to help her.

She grew up side by side with her human sister, Naomi, who is now 5 years old. The two of them were inseparable. Wherever Naomi was, Riley was right there with her. She would gently lay her head on Naomi while she slept, like she was keeping watch over her. When Naomi was little, Riley would crawl along the floor with her, matching her pace, playing and staying close like a true companion.

At the present time, I’m barely making ends meet. Since COVID, my rent has increased by $400, which has made it difficult to handle unexpected expenses like this.
Veterinary care, testing, and possible treatment costs are quickly adding up.
