Riley is a 6-year-old Boston Terrier in Thomaston, CT, who needs $1,717 for enucleation.

We bought Riley from a breeder who was selling him for much less due to him being the runt of the litter. Little did we know our little baby would have so many medical issues in store for us. Since we have no kids, Riley really is our baby. He's been with us for 6 years now our entire marriage and is definitely my everything. He's been through everything with us.

Riley loves to play with his rubber duckies, Kong toys and random balls that he finds outside or in the house. He sleeps with us every night and is always right by my side. He is a true love and gets along with anyone. He has a sister Trixie who is a sun conure who he likes to chase around. Anyone that comes over falls in love with Riley.

Riley loves going for rides. If you say ride he immediately goes downstairs to the door and waits. He loves his bones and treats and being in the sun. He loves belly runs and going under the blanket to cuddle. He likes to play fetch but doesn't like to give up the ball once he has it it turns into tug of war.

Riley has been suffering from severe allergies and corneal ulcers for a few years now. He's been treated by Newtown Vet Hospital, Central, Banfield, his primary vet is Dr. Gruszka from Prospect Vet Hospital. It has been quite a financial burden to us but we sacrifice what we have to for Riley to be treated. He will now need long term care, enucleation in left and possibly right eye.

I was injured severely at work a few years ago and am on disability and we rely on my husband's income for everything and unfortunately can't save or try to get ahead as this has been an ongoing battle for years.we just want him healthy and happy.
