As I sit here, recalling every moment with Rio—our playful kitty who brings so much joy to our family—I can’t help but feel a mix of gratitude and sheer panic. Just last month, Rio was rushed to the pet ER after collapsing from agonizing pain; his bladder had become obstructed in what should have been one of the happiest times for us both.

The initial emergency room bill stood at $7000—a number

Rio was rushed into the Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital on 10/20 for a bladder blockage. His vet bill was $3800. He was discharged 10/23 and still wasnt urinating. I rushed him back 10/24 and now he isn't turning again and needs a PU surgery of $7000. I paid $1000 already. Ive exhausted all our funds and options.
