About this campaign

We recently received an urgent message from a dedicated volunteer at a local shelter about a 4-month-old puppy who wasn’t acting like herself. She seemed quiet, weak, and not at all like the playful baby she should be. Trusting their instincts, the volunteer rushed her to the emergency veterinary clinic — and sadly, our worst fears were confirmed. Riot tested positive for Parvo.

At just 4 months old and weighing only 11 pounds, Riot should be spending her days playing, exploring, and learning what it means to be loved. Instead, she’s now fighting a dangerous and potentially deadly virus. Parvo attacks quickly, causing severe dehydration, vomiting, and weakness — and without immediate treatment, it can be fatal.

No puppy should be abandoned to fend for themselves at such a young age. Being left alone and vulnerable most likely led to Riot contracting this devastating disease. But tonight, she’s no longer alone — and we’re determined to give her every chance to survive.

Riot is currently hospitalized and is receiving critical, around-the-clock care. Parvo treatment can be intensive, but puppies are fighters — and Riot deserves the opportunity to grow up and experience the happy life every dog deserves.

Your support will help cover her emergency hospitalization and lifesaving care. Every donation, no matter the size, brings Riot one step closer to recovery. Please consider helping this tiny warrior beat Parvo. Together, we can give Riot the chance to leave the hospital, find safety, and finally just be a puppy.

8/11/26 Update

We have the best possible news to share about this little fighter! After a long and difficult week traveling back and forth between Ashland Animal Clinic and the Tri-State Animal ER, Riot has officially become a Parvo survivor! 🎉🐾

There were good days and bad days as this brave puppy battled the devastating virus, but she never stopped fighting. Thanks to the emergency veterinary care she received and the incredible support of everyone who donated to her campaign, Riot made it through. And her happy ending doesn't stop there…

Riot has been adopted! 💜

She now has a loving family and a brand-new name: Willow. After everything this little girl endured at just four months old, she finally gets to leave her difficult past behind and enjoy the puppyhood she always deserved.

From a quiet, sick puppy fighting for her life to a healthy, loved puppy with a family of her own—what an incredible transformation.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared Willow's story, and helped make sure she received the lifesaving care she needed. Your generosity helped give this little survivor a second chance.

Her story started with fear and uncertainty, but it ends exactly the way we hoped it would: healthy, happy, and home. Welcome to your new life, Willow!
