Ripley is a 8 year old Beagle in Kirkland, IL, who needs $2,000 for CCL Repair Surgery.

Ripley is a very good boy who we adopted from our son when he was 15 months old in the summer of 2017. He needed more room which we were able to provide and he quickly became a cherished member of our family. We had two other dogs that were older and Ripley was quickly accepted.

Ripley is healthy and happy but has a torn ACL in his rear left knee that happened in the last few weeks. His veterinarian at Bethany Animal Hospital tells us surgery is the only option to repair the knee .

Ripley is a very gentle loving companion. He loves everyone, especially our six and nine year old grandsons. He doesn't look it but he's got a lot of Beagle in him so if he sees a critter outside his Beagle baying (howling) makes it quite obvious. He's a good boy and we love him very much.

The last couple years have been very rough financially. Between a drop of business leading to significant pay cuts and mounting debt as a result, we really need some help to pay for Ripley's surgery 🙏
