I rescued RIpp from a shelter about 3 years ago. I had recently lost my beloved yorkie of 13 years and couldn’t afford to buy a new dog so I went to my local pound. My ex husband saw him in the corner and we asked about him. They said he wasn’t available yet. So we waited till the day he was and put our application in. We were approved and thankfully he has been by my side for very since.

RIpp has a growth on his leg that is painful and needs to be removed. He is relatively healthy considering he never had any vet care or shots until I got him. He needs to have the growth removed as well as his dew claws we’re never removed and are now hurting him.

RIpp is very lovable and very sweet very timid. You can tell he was hot because he was so scared of loud noises of thunder if you went to pet him to fast pretty much any sudden movements and he still drips down and runs away.

I’m going through a divorce and I’m taking care of an elderly parent who is very sick and can’t come up with the money to have his surgery. But it hurts my heart to watch him in pain.
