River came into my life on my birthday this last January. My wife adopted her for me from the Charolette humane socity in NC. I named her River due to she was paid for by the Carolina panthers head football coach ron rivera and his family. I fell in love with her the second I seen her and brought her home to lov and help me with my dissabilitys.

She sleeps with me on my bed next to me and my wife she loves to go for walks. also loves car rides shes a bit coco in the car but always excited t go on trips with me. She loves my 3yearold daughter wich loves her and always plays with her before she got sick and she still pets her even as shes withering away.

She loves the dog park and playing with her friends at the park. she loves playing in her pool that she has in the backyard. we take her to the beach and she loves to go for trips. She makes me smile when she snuggles with me in blankets with me on the recliner and in the bed. Her best friend is our 3 yearold daughter who she loves and also her faverite toys are kong bones and ropes.

She was outside playing and ate something that's stuck inside her bowls. We took her to Harbor Point Animal Hospital in Mooresville NC to get an Xray done on her and that's when they found something stuck inside her that she swelled and needs the lifesaving surgery asap before she dies. They only were able to do the Xray but not the surgery because I can't get funding.

I am on a fixed income due to being a disabled combat veteran She is my whole life she helps me with my TBI and PTSD due to being in the army I don't know what I would do without her and am doing everything possible to save her life.
