River is a 4 year old Great Dane in York, SC, who needs $2,000 for Endoscopy.

River came into our lives 4 years ago. We had never had a giant dog before, but knew we had the love, time, and space to watch him grow. He lives in our country house with Mom, Dad, two human brothers Logan (10) and Levi (8). He also has two dog siblings, Bingo and Rolly. River lives a pampered life with his own person couch to rest on and space to run and play.

River is currently hospitalized in the ER/ICU at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC. He was initially brought it for vomiting that wouldnt stop, dehydration, and lethargy. He has since lost over 20 pounds and has undergone countless tests and procedures to try find the cause. He has not been able to keep any food, water, or by mouth medication in to this day. He is withering away.

River is larger than life in every way. He is the gentlest giant and the biggest lover of his family. He is our everything. We go everywhere together. He loves to go on camping trips, the beach, mountain cabin getaways, or even just a daily trip to Lowes. He has his own special couch but prefers to sleep with human brother Logan and keep him extra warm. He is so silly and fills all of our hearts

Rivers illness came on suddenly and without warning. He is still just a baby and we cant lose him. The daily ICU bills, procedure costs, and diagnostics are towering high, but we CANNOT give up on him. We still dont know the cause, so the cost will only cont.
