Riya is a 1 year old Boxer in Derry, NH, who needs $11,000 for Obstruction Removal Surgery.

We sat down one night as a family, thinking about getting a puppy. My 11 year old at the time found Riya, who was previously named Ellie. She has been the best part of our lives for almost two years.

Riya likes to get into things. It used to be sticks and other toys, and now she has decided to start eating plastic! We do everything in our power to keep this from happening. She just had surgery a month ago and has come to need another one.

Riya loves any person that comes in front of her. She loves to be in your face, giving kisses. She always knows when one of us is down, and will cuddle and be the best emotional support needed.

Riya just had surgery a month ago, which insurance certainly helped with. The fact that she has another need so quickly, the insurance will not cover it. We just want our baby back and don't think she should be let go at just under 2 years old :(
