Rocco is a 4-year-old Lab-Pit Mix Dog in Medford , MA, who needs $2,000 for Mass Removal.

Rocco was a rescue who came into my life shortly after the loss of my childhood dog Max, who we lost due to cancer. I was not expecting to get a dog but when I saw Roccos big smile I knew I had to be his mom! I drove 3 hours to Vermont to pick him up! Rocco is loving his new city life with me in my apartment.

Rocco spends his days snoozin on the couch, playing in the yard, and wondering around the house seeing what mischief he can get himself into. Rocco loves swimming, going to the dog park, going for walks, and cuddling with his human. Rocco will do anything to get his moms attention, he loves to sit next to her and get pats while she does her homework.

Rocco is a goofy dog! He often gets the zoomies(as seen in the video), He thinks its funny to put his paws in his bowl and dig out all the water, he also likes to steal all of moms socks and bring them to his bed! If he wants to be brushed he has no problem grabbing his brush and bringing it over to mom to let her know!

Rocco developed a large possibly cancerous mass on his belly and he has to have it surgically removed to find out what it is. The vet said it is urgent to get removed as it is rapidly growing. His surgery will be done at Mass Vet Referral Hospital in Woburn MA by Doctor Karen F. Pastor. He is scheduled to go in on Monday May 9th 2022.

This is an unexpected expense, and as a finically independent collage student, the cost of Rocco's surgery is to much for me to cover on my own. Having Rocco healthy is very important because he is only happy when he can be out and about, and it has been hard with his tumor.
