Rocko is a 7-month-old Golden Retriever in Douglas, GA, who needs $1,600 for FHO Surgery .

I found him online as a puppy for my son who is autistic. He is a golden retriever and I heard they love kids. We have 8 kids and everyone has grown to love him. We have taught him tricks and he sleeps when we sleep. He goes outside but loves to stay in the house and sleep all day. We live in a single family home

He is very playful and loves to run around and play in the water. He enjoys playing with my four small boys that adore him. He has is own cage and toys but would rather eat my furniture. He has eat all the boys toys and sits at the table waiting on something to fall so he can eat it. Won't eat his dog food unless there is nothing left.

So we already paid them 450 to do an iv and some other things there now we bought him to this hospital they said 2000 just to watch him over night. It will be 4000 if he need emergency surgery. Then he will have to go somewhere else if his leg is broken.

He was playing in the creek next door to us because he loves to play in the water. He was coming out and a car came down and didn't see him and hit him. He is now at Westside Emergency Animal Hospital on Thornton Road in Georgia. We have 8 kids and we just can't afford what the hospital is asking after paying 450 for just an IV. We took him to a hospital and they said he need to go to an emergency

He is very special because I got him for my son that is 5 and he is autistic and plays alone. I wanted him to be able to have a friend. The look that he gives you when he has done something wrong is hilarious. If we point at the cage he will hold his head down and go straight in there or run to if we are in another room.
